I am a second-year Ph.D. student in the Graduate Program in Neuroscience at Brown University under the mentorship of Dr. Alex Fleischmann. Here is my lovely lab's page! I am interested in fundamental information processing in biological neural networks, asking questions such as, "How does a network provide rigidity for signal fidelity while maintaining flexibility for adaptive learning?" I use a multimodal repertoire of functional, molecular, and connectivity analyses to investigate the mechanics behind learning and perception in mouse olfaction.
In addition to lab work, I enjoy sharing science with my community. I am the author of a children's book, The Friends in My Brain; teach pop-up neuroscience lessons in K-12 schools; and organize a smell booth for the Brown Brain Fair. I also run a graduate mentorship program, hosted here as myGradStudent.
